I purchased my dress at a local Bridal Store in 2006. When I went to try on dresses I was having a hard time finding something I loved and that fit the way I wanted to. Many dresses needed alterations and the ones I liked couldn't be altered the way I wanted to due things like the line of the skirt. So the associate offered to bring me dresses that she thought I would like. She brought me one that was on display and I said "I saw that one when I came it and there is NO way you are getting me in that. Its NOT the dress for me. Its hideous!" The associate pressed me to give it a TRY saying "you might be surprised" and I said "If it looks icky on that stick mannequin, its NOT going to look good on me". I was giving this woman any reason I could think of not to try it on. WHY wasn't she getting the hint!?! Finally I caved thinking if I just do it maybe she will move along. Well... I immediately apologized for being so stubborn! As soon as it was on, and I was in front of the mirror, I was in awe. This was the dress! I started to cry and knew, this was the one. And to think I was going to pass it up because of how it looked on a mannequin! I felt amazing!

Due to circumstances beyond our control we postponed our wedding a couple of times. We just got married in 2012, and I loved this dress as much as the day I bought it. I was going to keep it for my daughter but we have no where to store it for that length of time (she's 3!) so I am going to let it go.
