The dress was bought in downtown Grand Rapids, MI at a wedding boutique. I was looking for a dress that was timeless, classic, and involved lace :) It was the third dress I tried on and was in love. It is from the designer Maggie Sottero ( and was a beautiful, graceful, and elegant addition to our special day. I cannot say how comfortable I felt in this dress as well.
The dress is made up of an ivory lace sheath that goes over a french vanilla slip underneath. It includes a sweetheart neckline and multiple covered buttons in the back along with a keyhole back. The dress drapes the body and creates a relaxed and flattering fit. The grosgrain ribbon belt with Swarovski crystal handmade flowers with beaded embellishments is included as it completes the dress and adds a little sparkle (was sold separately).
