The dress is a vintage-inspired, tea-length dress with champagne-colored silk dupioni base, ivory-colored French alencor lace overlay, and hand-dyed silk ribbon accents. It is a gorgeous AND comfortable dress. I am selling the dress now because my husband and I are having twins and I would love to share this happiness of this dress with someone else. It's a happy dress.
I looked at and tried on several vintage-inspired dresses by other designers and each one seemed cheap and badly fitting. If you've looked around, maybe you've seen what I mean where the lace looks cheap and you're not sure if alterations will get the fit that you want. I was getting frustrated until I found this designer and dress.
If you're having rustic, shabby-chic, or barn-style wedding, but still want high-end touches, this is the dress. The dress was perfect in our country church and in our rustic reception venue. I was delighted that I didn't have to drag a long dress or train through the dirt and could just enjoy every moment of the day.
